Not all digital pictures are perfect, some of them need a bit of touching up. And that means you will need a photo editing tool to help you out. Out of all the tools available out there, you would not go wrong by trying the pro photo editing tool Photo Toolbox developed by LifeSniffer. This application blends together a lot of useful features in an easy to use interface; you’ll have easy access to numerous photo editing functions.

The LifeSniffer installation file is only 3.3MB in size. You can install the application on XP, Vista, or Windows 7, without much of a hassle. All you have to do is run the aforementioned installation file and click through a standard setup wizard. Once the installation process completes, your default browser will launch and you will be directed to a “What’s new” webpage. This webpage lists all Photo Toolbox versions and the new features that were added to each one.

The Photo Toolbox interface is pretty much typical of what you would expect from a photo editing tool. The photo you’re working on is displayed in a large pane that takes up the best part of the interface. To the left and at the top there are buttons for various functions Photo Toolbox can perform. To the right there’s the Navigator pane and underneath it there’s the History pane.

After you open an image with Photo Toolbox (the application provides support for a long list of image formats; you can open an image stored on your PC, or you can import an image from your digital camera), you can use a variety of functions to edit it. As mentioned above, the functions are presented at the top and on the left of the application’s interface. You can flip and rotate an image, crop it, adjust red eyes, play with the colors, resize and crop the image, add an effect, and more. Anything you do to the image will be added to the list in the History pane from the right hand side. Use it to undo/redo changes to your photo.

Once you’re done editing a photo, you can save it as a JPEG, BMP, PNG, PPM, or TIF. Please note that the trial will put a watermark on your edited image. To get rid of it, you will have to get a Photo Toolbox license.

Get this powerful tool and easily edit your images.

Pros

The interface isn’t hard to figure out; you can customize it if you so desire. Support for a long list of image formats is provided. Photo Toolbox puts numerous useful editing functions at your disposal. Undo/redo changes to the image from the History pane.

Cons

The trial version puts a watermark on the output.
